  • Overview

    The Identity and Access Management Engineer (IAM) will be a part of a team responsible for authentication and identity tools and procedures for The Seminar Network. As the IAM Engineer, you’ll oversee the design, delivery and support of authentication and identity services for over 1000 users. You’ll be an integral part of our IT function and will be leveraged to support numerous integrated applications with the aim of user authentication.


    You enable the right individuals to access the right resources at the right times and for the right reasons. As identity becomes an increasingly critical IT Security component, you understand the importance of protecting the perimeter through identity engineering. If you have strong skills in the areas of critical thinking, written and verbal communication, IT system knowledge, data analysis, communication standards, and operating modern authentication mechanisms—we need you!


    • Develops strategic road maps for the Identity Management systems and program
    • Responsible for deploying an enterprise identity management and access governance system supporting security and regulatory compliance, reduced IT support costs, and end-user self-service
    • Develops enterprise wide standards for identity and access management
    • Work as part of a distributed team to provide day-to-day and operational support for an enterprise environment consisting of AWS, SSO, MFA, Directory Services, and many integrated applications as we move to the cloud
    • Provide support for modern authentication mechanisms supporting single sign on services, Azure, etc.
    • Experiment with new technologies, or new policies and procedures that drive innovation and advances for our customers


    • 5+ years’ experience in information technology
    • 2+ years’ experience with modern authentication mechanisms like SAML, Oauth, Open ID Connect
    • Understanding of modern authentication mechanisms like SAML, Oauth, Open ID Connect
    • Experience with application of security best practices applied to technology platforms
    • Experience supporting cloud-based collaboration clients
    • Experience with application infrastructure, both traditional on premises and cloud server-less infrastructure
    • Experience with scripting tools like python, java, PowerShell
    • Experience with Azure, AWS, and related cloud application Infrastructure
    • Excellent documentation, communication and collaboration skills
