    The Seminar Network seeks a Financial Analyst to provide advanced financial analysis, reporting and decision-making guidance for the network organizations and its partners. The role of the financial analyst will be focused on data analysis, accounting and financial systems, with corresponding metrics and reporting.  The person will act a financial business partner and work directly with Operations, Accounting and Finance personnel.

    • Provide financial analysis of organization’s activities including revenue and expense reporting and program analysis.
    • Actively participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis of monthly financials.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards with both financial as well and KPI data providing internal customers with trends and key insights used for strategic decision making and driving performance.
    • Collaborate with systems analysts to develop and maintain systems to house data and models for analysis.
    • Prepare presentations to translate the insights in the data for customers.
    • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to help identify and refine alternatives to capture highest-value opportunities and projects.
    • Collaborate with financial reporting and accounting team to demonstrate the importance of identifying measurable outcomes for project assessment.
    • Maintain 100% compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.


    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or business highly preferred
    • 1-3 years of experience in finance or business intelligence related role  
    • High degree of attention to detail and organization 
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Power user of Excel 
    • Advanced analytical experience and ability to assess alternatives
    • Hands on experience with data and spreadsheets
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with external clients, team members, and other capabilities within the organization  
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
