    Storytelling is critical to inspiring people and motivating them to take action to transform society. That’s why The Seminar Network is seeking a Director, Experiential Marketing to help develop the narrative, theme, and content for exclusive events for hundreds of the country's top business and philanthropic leaders seeking to help people improve their lives. These events are of the highest production value, combining insightful talks with engaging visuals and powerful videos, to create an experience that many attendees say is one-of-a-kind and even life-changing. This is a high-impact role as participants of these events not only gain new ideas and insights from the program, they are motivated to take action – committing their time, talents, and resources to hundreds of causes that are making a meaningful difference in millions of people’s lives.


    • Develop the theme and narrative for events and oversee the execution to ensure all products contribute to the overall vision, working closely with the Director of Programs and Events and internal stakeholders
    • Work directly with external speakers, including principled social change entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and elected officials, to inform their remarks
    • Direct and write scripts for TED talk-style talks to hundreds of the nation’s top business leaders, philanthropists, and social entrepreneurs
    • Collaborate with the creative team on the visuals and videos to accompany the talks to create a powerful storytelling experience
    • Lead rehearsals with presenters to strengthen the delivery of their talks
    • Develop written prep materials and take-home materials to supplement the big ideas and stories featured in the talks
    • Supervise members of the programs team


    • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or advertising, or equivalent experience required
    • 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred
    • A deep desire for helping people improve their lives and creating a better society for all
    • An expertise in translating complex ideas and strategies into effective written and verbal communications
    • Experience in scriptwriting or speechwriting, writing creative briefs and treatments, and storyboarding visuals
    • A passion for learning, including studying the most effective writing, communications, and marketing techniques
    • An ability to present ideas in front of small internal groups including top executives and build consensus among stakeholders
    • Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently, and exercise sound professional judgment
    • Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously
