  • Overview

    The Seminar Network seeks a Director of Digital Fundraising to oversee the strategic planning and execution of digital fundraising programs for several non-profit organizations. This role will require an innovative and driven individual to build a fundraising strategy by leveraging internal talent and assets as well as outside agency support with a goal of growing a sustainable, profitable revenue source, both through direct contributions and identification of high-dollar prospects.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the implementation of an overall effort to acquire, engage, cultivate, and upgrade donors through all digital channels (email, social media, websites, etc.) with a goal of maximizing long-term revenue.
    • Collaborate and partner with the internal communications team to overlay fundraising strategies over existing digital outreach in a way that increases overall engagement, increases donor conversion rates, and supports long-term strategic network objectives.
    • Coordinate with the Director of Direct Mail on strategies to establish a multi-channel approach to donor communications.
    • Oversee and produce the creative and messaging of digital fundraising efforts for individual partner organizations and work with partner organization leaders to ensure strategy and policy alignment.
    • Capture tone and message of a variety of non-profit organizations to accurately and effectively communicate calls to action.
    • Communicate regularly with the Vice President of Direct Marketing, senior leadership, and the development team on key initiatives and long-term strategies.
    • Utilize, monitor and deploy resources wisely to achieve development goals.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant years of work experience required;
    • Proven digital fundraising experience required
    • Experience in developing a robust digital acquisition program leveraging all digital mediums to grow the program through email list rentals, Facebook Business Manager and Google AdWords
    • Digital copywriting experience. The essence of marketing is the message, and you must understand how to move people to action.
    • Data analysis and strategic decision making, and a relentless focus on results.
    • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Mail Chimp, etc), and familiarity with email set up and delivery best practices
    • Awesome interpersonal skills and the proven ability to sell key stakeholders on ideas and strategy
    • Familiarly with data segmentation and technical skills including HTML coding and SEO.
    • Demonstrated evidence of leadership ability or entrepreneurial behavior;
    • A passion and commitment to the principles of a free and open society;
    • Humility, integrity, passion, motivation, and a self-starter attitude.
