    The Seminar Network seeks a Senior Manager of Events Strategy to drive the development of events from conception to execution in order to identify and engage a broad network of high-net-worth philanthropists to advance The Seminar Network’s vision and priority initiatives.

    • Build event strategies and test a variety of models (regional, donor-driven, issue-specific, etc.) to advance moves management strategies and then scale successful models
    • Work with the pipeline team to develop and execute an events strategy to bridge the gap between direct marketing and major gifts, which includes leveraging existing Network and donor-specific events
    • Responsible for how the Koch family’s time is leveraged towards development objectives, including being the team’s primary point of contact with Koch family management
    • Supervise members of the events team


    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 6+ years of work experience required
    • Events and/or fundraising experience as well as past supervisory experience strongly preferred
    • Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, adaptability, attention to detail, professionalism and composure
    • Demonstrated pattern of entrepreneurial behavior, ability to prioritize, work collaboratively, and a self-starter attitude
    • Understanding of and commitment to the principles of a society of equal rights and mutual benefit
    • A high degree of discretion and appreciation of confidentiality
