  • Overview

    The Seminar Network is seeking an Events Project Manager to work within a fast-paced development team to manage the production of high-level events for some of country’s top business and philanthropic leaders, ranging in size from a dozen to 600+. The Events Project Manager will report to the Managing Director, Programs and Events and work across a number of organizations and with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the production and coordination of all elements of events – including the program, communications and marketing, fundraising strategy, and guest experience – from the development stage to execution to ensure that events are world class and are produced in an efficient, predictable manner. 
    • Provide clear direction to events team, internal and external stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that priorities are understood and deadlines are met.
    • Assist with the on-site execution of events.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 6+ years of professional experience required
    • Project management experience strongly preferred
    • Ability to prioritize, work collaboratively, and manage deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, adaptability, attention to detail, professionalism and composure, including in high-stakes situations
    • Demonstrated pattern of entrepreneurial behavior and a self-starter attitude
    • Understanding of and commitment to the ideas of freedom, market principles, and the advancement of liberty
    • A high degree of discretion and appreciation of confidentiality
