Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized, professional communication with client organizations
  • Review and process invoices for payment from client organizations
  • Assist in continually improving and streamlining accounting processes
  • Oversee recurring payments and contracts
  • Understand and maintain 100% compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Willingness to assist other accounting teams on an as-needed basis
  • Show accuracy and the ability to process transactions quickly
  • Work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in a professional, office environment
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business; Finance or Accounting preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and explain new concepts
  • Interest in learning Accounts Payable aspects of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Strong computer skills and proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and change in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Results-driven sense of urgency
  • Appreciation for free market ideals and principles of limited government
